This is where my inspiration for the music I chose came from, as this is the band who made the song "wing". I like the colours used as there bright and fun which stands out to me and the audience im going for. I also like the layout of the page as it shows the band members together on main page and give individual information about each member which I thinks important.

This website is not the type of genre ill be using but its a band I enjoy and I like the master head they use as it stands out and gets your attention. Also I like the colours used as there faded and the way it shows pictures from the band and videos which gets the audience interested. I don't like how you have to scroll down and the lay out isn't the best.

I like this website page as when you first click onto it, it doesn't take you straight to the website page as it allows you to see what the website contains of first. I love the layout of the page and the way you can scroll through different pictures and information, as it makes it fun to look at. This would be a useful to me as its the type of thing I want but would use brighter colours. It best portrays the singer.

This website is very plain and doesn't fit my genre but it uses the scrolling technique like on Rihanna's web page which always gets my attention. By looking at this page it makes me know I want a fun and more busier band page allowing more pictures of the band members.

I like the font style being used for the text on the page but its a simple page and doesn't have much of the band on it which I want to include in mine and make the digipack more fun and interesting to get the audience im going for attention. This is also not the genre style im using for my music video.

This band are not the genre of music im going for but I like the layout on the page as its simple and uses a scroll technique too which shows the audience all the information. This makes the web page easy to use and get around as your not flicking from one page to another.

Magazine Adverts

I am thinking for my magazine advert I will use the girls in the band to be the featured part of the advert, as ill make them the background and then put the information about them and the CD around it to advertise their band. By having the CD and a picture of the members of the band on the front will allow people to see who they are and what their CD looks like. I will be following the colour scheme im doing for the CD case which is black, grey and dark colours also having some bright fuzzy colours around the edges of the magazine advert to catch the audiences eyes. I will have the name of the band at the top of the page which is called the masthead or at the bottom to mix it up a bit. This will be shown in bold either white or a bright colour to stand out to people so they can see who the advertisments about. Under the masthead there will be the date of when the CD is being released and will be shown in bold as well. Ill also show a quote that describes the album across the middle of the advert in a smaller font to the title but it will still stand out so people can see it. There will be other information like where they can buy the album from for example, HMV, Itunes, Ebay, Amazon and any super market or music store. Ill use the picture from the album cover or inside of the album on the advert so it relates back to the album. Also ill use the same colours on the advert as this will also relates back to the album. The fonts im using on the album cover will be also used on the advert so they relate to each other too. This will make it easy for the audience to know what band their looking at, as everything will be related to the album. These are a few magazine adverts iv found which cought my eye and also fit the style I want for my advert:

Research for Digipack

This is the six sided CD cover i will be making and what it will look like. This will include a front cover with the band members and name on it or style the artists want on their album cover. Then on the back cover there will be a list of the songs that will be included in the CD and bar code also the brand name. On the inside it will be where you fnd the CD and a deisgn or pictures of the band.

Front Cover

For my front cover I am thinking of doing a simple design with the girls in my band on the front cover as all girl bands do this which will get my audiences attention. This will work the best with the type of genre im going for as itll be effective and then on the inside I can make it more exciting with brighter colours. The reason I have chosen the extreme lights (LED's) is because it links back to the bands name, The Lazerlights. I am not sure on how im going to lay out the lights around the girls but im certian I want to include the members in the band on the front cover and through out the CD. I might also make the girls faded so the lights stand out more which will be effective and stand out. I have used a few of the type of album covers that already use this style I want as they give me inspiration and more ideas on how i could plan it out to get the best look and effect. I have also included a few group album covers that use bright colours that describe the girls id be using.

Behind the CD

For behind the CD case I will use the idea of bright LED lights so it will stand out and will carry on the idea from the front page so the whole CD case is connected. I want to you something simple behind the CD case as it will be covered up half of the time but when the CD is moved I will want it to get the attention of the client who bougtht the album, which is the effect im going for.



Inside Covers

For my inside covers I want to use the girls from the band and take fun, exciting, bright coloured pictures that show how close the girls are and show their personalities that will relate to the audience. I want to get a nice group photo of the girls using different props like sitting on a sofa or walking down the street being close together to show their relationship. I want to make all my covers in the album to be bright and colourful as this expresses the girls personalities that will come through from the pictures. I might use a locaton for the picture of a plain background.

Back Cover

For my back cover im going to put what songs the girls will be showing on the CD in a list. The songs will be numbered so its easy for the customer to find what song they want to listen to when using the CD. The background of the cover will be a plain colour which will be black, grey or a dark colour to go with the scheme of the whole album. The song im using for the music video im doing will be the first song shown on the list and will be bold and say latest hit single so the audience know which song is in the charts. This is an example of how many songs I might include on my back cover and the lay out and colour used. It will also have a bar code shown on the side as well as the place you can find the band.

Outside

For the outside of the album I will use bright colours for a simple deisgn that follows together to make a picture which fits the genre and the other pictures i have used on the album covers.

Inside fold

I might use this in my album which will allow a load of names that have worked with the girls to be included in the CD case tho be thanks for the hard work they've done to get them to the stage their at now.

Theorists and Codes

I don't have a narrative in my music video as its show to be a simple video using a lot of digitalis things that don't really connect to the lyrics in the song. The music video im making will sometimes relate back to the lyrics in the song as I want to give the song more of a meaning which will be a  narrative, this includes:

- Levi Stret Theory- Where a group of people are seem to be lonely on their own and then change and become best friends and are a close group of people which i the sort of theory im going to use in my music video. The girls in my  music video will have a close relationship that gives them the confidence to grow in their lifes and move on to bigger and better things.

- Action Codes- I do many shots where the camera will jump from one location and band member to another location and band member as each shot will be quick and no longer than 2seonds long unless the girls are dancing or still shots are being used.
