Magazine Adverts

I am thinking for my magazine advert I will use the girls in the band to be the featured part of the advert, as ill make them the background and then put the information about them and the CD around it to advertise their band. By having the CD and a picture of the members of the band on the front will allow people to see who they are and what their CD looks like. I will be following the colour scheme im doing for the CD case which is black, grey and dark colours also having some bright fuzzy colours around the edges of the magazine advert to catch the audiences eyes. I will have the name of the band at the top of the page which is called the masthead or at the bottom to mix it up a bit. This will be shown in bold either white or a bright colour to stand out to people so they can see who the advertisments about. Under the masthead there will be the date of when the CD is being released and will be shown in bold as well. Ill also show a quote that describes the album across the middle of the advert in a smaller font to the title but it will still stand out so people can see it. There will be other information like where they can buy the album from for example, HMV, Itunes, Ebay, Amazon and any super market or music store. Ill use the picture from the album cover or inside of the album on the advert so it relates back to the album. Also ill use the same colours on the advert as this will also relates back to the album. The fonts im using on the album cover will be also used on the advert so they relate to each other too. This will make it easy for the audience to know what band their looking at, as everything will be related to the album.
